到了外婆家，外婆早就准备好了好多好吃的东西。一家人围着台子有说有笑的吃着团圆饭。吃好晚饭我们就到外面空地上去放烟花，五颜六色的烟花在空中绽放，真是好看极了！

其中，除夕是我最喜欢的一天，尽管那天是最重要最忙碌的一天。在这个时刻，除了特殊原因外，大家都会回到家里，与家人团聚。每当这会儿，外婆就将饭菜端上来，看着桌上丰富的年夜饭，我们还没吃就一个劲的说好。饭桌上，我们一边谈论生活中的奇闻乐事，一边津津有味地品尝美味佳肴，享受团圆的乐趣。吃完年夜饭，我们这些小孩子就会室外的空地看璀璨而耀眼的烟花在美丽的夜空中缤纷绽放。而大人们呢，就在家里看“春节联欢晚会”、准备明天拜年要用的礼品。
到了十二点，也就是午夜零点。家家户户都准备好鞭炮，对着门外大喊几声：“放炮啦！放炮啦！”随着喊声过后，“噼里啪啦！噼里啪啦！噼里啪啦！”一阵阵激烈的爆竹和鞭炮声在我们耳旁回荡，这才是最激动人心的时刻，新的一年即将来临！
“噼里啪啦！”这天早晨迎着几声炮声，我们才睡醒。没错，这天就是大年初一！这几天，我们都会去亲戚好友家作客拜年，并且还会带些礼品，表示客气之意。然后，我们会出去外面逛逛街，看舞狮表演。舞狮是我家乡的最大特色，看着虎狮从地上跳到高楼上，再用复杂又困难的动作表演，我们连声叫好！
过了初十，十一、十二时，我们也就该回去工作了。这时，长辈会让我们带些拜年时别人送的或买的礼品，喻意春节的喜气会伴随着我们度过这一整年。
