英语的毕业典礼演讲稿篇1

now i seriously want to thank you for that. i had to take that picture. my mother always took photos of me at every progress point growing up. shesquo;d show off those photos to everyone who came to our house, and she would be so proud that i am here at my old stomping ground with all of you.

so, now graduates, itsquo;s certainly your day, but president price already reminded us itsquo;s mothersquo;s day – but you know women never get enough love, never. so the one day we have here to offer a deserved salute to those who bore us biologically and those who stood in as surrogates for many of our needs and wants – deserve some more love. i want all the graduates to stand up and give their mothers and their surrogate mothers some love. thank you.

now this is my first mothersquo;s day without my own mother, who i lost last august.

and while shesquo;s not here physically, i can still hear her voice when i reach a significant milestone or face what appears to be an insurmountable obstacle.

and if she were here today, i know exactly what she would say to you.

in response to your achievement, it would, no doubt, be crisp and compelling a show of support: you did it! and she would offer you a huge smile and an even bigger hug.

but she would also keep it real with you like she always did with me. she would tell you that your future, like any of ours, is going to be hard work. i can hear her say: lisa, listen to me and hear me clearly. adversity is like the agitator in the washing machine. it beats the heck out of the clothes, but theysquo;re clean when they come out.

now, some people say, we should leave it in godsquo;s hands. but most religious leaders, isquo;m happy to say, disagree. after all, where in the bible, or the torah, or the koran, or any other book about faith or philosophy, does it teach that we should do things that make floods and fires and plagues more severe? i must have missed that day in religion class.

today, most americans in both parties accept that human activity is driving the climate crisis and they want government to take action. over the past two months, there has been a healthy debate – mostly within the democratic party – over what those actions should be. and thatsquo;s great.

in the years ahead, we need to build consensus around comprehensive and ambitious federal policies that the next congress should pass. but everyone who is concerned about the climate crisis should also be able to agree on two realities.

the first one is, given opposition in the senate and white house, there is virtually no chance of passing such policies before 20xx. and the second reality is we cansquo;t wait to act. we cansquo;t put this mission off any longer. mother nature does not wait on the election calendar – and neither can we.

our foundation, bloomberg philanthropies, have been working for years to rally cities, and states, and businesses to lead on this issue – and wesquo;ve had real success. just not enough.

english is a useful language all over the world. why are we began to learn english when we were little children beacause it is very important for us to learn it.in the world, if you cannot speak english you will lose half a chance to success. i began to learn english when i was 8 years old.at that moment,i do not like english.i connot remember all the words which i have learnt.i think it is very difficult for me to learn it well.so i cannot read english loudly and i never answer the questions in the english classes.

now, i like english very well and i still use the ways he tells me.i know i must learn english even hard.

eliminating or easing legal and cultural barriers so that more parents can make the choices that are right for their families is a core mission for our generation. we donsquo;t label men working men. and it is my hope that by the time my daughter arabella grows into a woman she will not be defined by whether she works inside or outside the home. she will simply be a woman, afforded the same opportunities as her male peers and equipped with the education and support she needs to fulfill her unique potential.

this is how i believe we will empower women – and in so doing, enable them to raise confident, empathetic, and ambitious sons and daughters, to propel unprecedented growth and job creation, and to cultivate a society that embraces the fullness of life, the dignity of work, and the gift of strong and flourishing families.

so today, i hope you will join me in imagining this future and working together to make it a reality- for our children, for our nations, and for the hope of a more vibrant and inclusive economy.

god willing, none of you will face at any age the kind of dangers and fears that fred and tyler did. but they, and so many others like them, have left us all a legacy that provides perspective and proportion for those inevitable moments when the pressures and disappointments of life get us down.

donsquo;t misunderstand this, but i wish for you many such tough moments. you can easily avoid them; just lead a safely inconsequential life: run no risks, confront no injustice, accept no roles of leadership. but thatsquo;s not the path we expect you to choose. you are about to become graduates of purdue university, which, throughout its history, has supplied leaders to a world that needs them now as rarely before.

long after you leave us, your senior year will be remembered as the year of tyler trent. his is a story i need not recount; everyone here knows who he was, and how he faced a situation for which words like adversity and stress donsquo;t come close. he impacted more people, and left deeper footprints, than most who will enjoy lives several times longer than his. wesquo;ll never forget you, tyler.

first, i want to ask you a question; what does family mean someone told me: it means father and mother, i love you.

today i am very happy to stand here to express my opinion to my dear parents. first, i want to say thank you to my mom and dady .without you, i would not enjoy such a colorful life. you both love me for ever and never leave me alone when i was in trouble. thank you. mom and dady, thank you. when i was in my hard time, you are my tender sunshine which encourages me to hold on and never give up. and now i am too excited .i dont know how to express my true feeling with limited words. what i know is that without you my life will be filled with endless suffering and mistake .

itsquo;s a very intresting topic today.

英语的毕业典礼演讲稿篇7

well, good morning, everyone. hello, washu, how is everyone doing?

let me start with the most important words i can say today: congratulations to the distinguished graduates of the great class of 20xx.

isquo;d like to welcome everyone here – and chancellor wrighton for extending the invitation. isquo;ve known the chancellor for more than a decade, and i want to congratulate him for everything he has done to both transform this campus and raise academic standards.

if there are…if there are any older alumni present, be glad you applied back when you did. i can just tell you that certainly i would not have gotten into washu today. for the record, i was the kind of student who always made the top half of the class possible.

graduates, itsquo;s a great honor to be your commencement speaker. i accept the fact that i wasnsquo;t your first choice. but unfortunately, t-pain couldnsquo;t make it. mandatory vocal rest, he said. actually, thatsquo;s the same reason i didnsquo;t go out last night and sing karaoke at tsquo;s.

todaysquo;s a beautiful day. but this is st. louis, and so before leaving my hotel this morning, i also packed a winter parka.

i drove over here, and i was lucky: i found a very convenient parking space – on west campus – so i took the shuttle over. it was worth it. what an amazing place this is. where else could i see the bunny? and the duc.

still, i was disappointed that, in all my walking around, i did not get to see the schoolsquo;s most famous icon: ninja turtle backpack guy. demetri, way to dance to your own beat.
